Allen’s place in Maple Leaf great. We stayed for 13 nights and found no major issues. We stayed at the house in the front on the top floor. Although we could hear people talking from downstairs at night, they stayed only a few days when we’re there so no issue at all for us. There was some missing items, but when requested, Allen quickly responded and provided us with the items requested. There was small miscommunication about trash, but quickly resolved with Allen. They have all the amenities that you can think of! Bed is also comfortable, although the single sofa bed might not be that comfortable is used for too long (we decided not to use it). Area wise, well it’s Seattle, so best to have a car so we have no hassle getting around from the house. It’s 5 mins drive to Northgate Rail, 10mins to UW. Super convenient. Not much around the area to walk (big street is Roosevelt), but no issue for us as we had a car. Overall, great stay. Will come back and recommend to friends/family.
This place overall met our needs but was not exceptional. From booking this location we received extensive messages that were clearly automated and not always relevant to our stay. There is no handrail for the entrance stairs which could be challenging for some guests. We noticed there were no dish towels and I reached out to the host due to his response to previous reviews about missing amenities. While he was quick to respond it took getting in touch with his team to determine they would drop off paper towels, which we had-he then agreed to provide dish towels the next day which never occurred. It’s a small thing but felt worth noting for other potential guests.
We had a great stay. The place was cute, homey, and it had everything we needed. It was easy to enjoy and feel at home. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking supplies, and my husband enjoyed cooking on the stove! Check-in and out were simple and easy! Thanks for the perfect stay!
